looking for suggestions for new special publications, it is currently on ASHRAE
Website.

Meeting
- Breakfast meeting at 6:30 – two things
brought up
- Broad impact RTARS will have
favored status, especially if results are pertinent to handbook, standards and/or guidelines.
- RTARS will have shelf life of 3
years.
- Input in regards to possible for
RTAR approval should be sought before submitting RTAR.

progress and direction, not change their scope or plan
- No information can be released by
the contractor, TC or others before final report is submitted and approved.
- Research Project 1237-TRP
- TC 5.5 Air to Air Heat Exchanger
wanted to help and provide data base input.
- Contractor provided presentation
on initial data source findings
- TC approved almost all of
contractors findings but expressed concern that majority of buildings
identified were Class A properties. The
reason being that Class A properties tend to have CHW systems while a majority
of buildings have dx systems. (Addressed in next PMS teleconference with
contractor in August 2003.)
- Contractor was asked to submit an
updated schedule (received July 2003)
- Other research activities
- Potential Research Projects (only two items allowed to be submitted per
RAS)
1. Effects of Maintenance on HVAC
System Energy Costs
