Motion By Joe Watson with
second by Carl Hiller to accept RP 929 report from ADM.
Discussion followed
regarding the need for a Technical Paper to be reviewed and presented.
Passed
5–1-1-1(Guckelberger absent)
Reason
for negative vote:
Bill Thomaston felt like ADM did not do an adequate number of surveys, and
there was discontinuity of mailing and representing of data he had access. More
timely communications and coordination with the committee by the contractor on
the progress of the researh project and the difficulties and encountered as it
progressed would have enhanced the value of the research to ASHRAE.
Reason
for Abstention:
Wayne Webster: same reasons as given by Bill Thomaston. Jim Poulos will
prepare, and Joe Watson and Terry Cornell will review a brief summary of the
research project for submittal to ASHRAE."
